Dress for Success Winnipeg’s Clothing Program provides professional attire and styling advice to women actively trying to re-enter the workforce. However, the program is also so much more than just an outfit; it can indeed be a transformative experience. During the Clothing Program, a Client receives the clothing to dress for success and the support and encouragement from our volunteers to believe in herself, building her confidence to secure meaningful employment.

At Dress for Success Winnipeg, all clients can receive up to two employment clothing appointments to empower their careers! First, clients are paired with volunteers to discuss the current holes in their wardrobe, personal style, and career goals.
Job seekers select interview-ready outfits. From shoes to accessories and everything in between, they are ready to succeed in their employment search.
Once clients have successfully secured employment; they can return for additional wardrobe items that will last them through their first few weeks on the job so that their first paycheck can go to where it is most needed!
At Dress for Success Winnipeg, our Newcomer Clothing Appointments are designed to empower and equip newcomer women and non-binary individuals as they transition into the Canadian workforce.
These appointments are intended to help Newcomers take that first step in their employment journey in Canada.

Specialty suitings are also available for clients with unique short-term suiting needs outside their daily job-seeking and employment experiences. These suitings are by appointment only.
Students needing clothing can find employment-appropriate items to ensure they are ready for work and putting their best face forward!
For clients going to court, we provide a single outfit so they can present their case. This includes clients defending their refugee status, testifying in spousal abuse cases, presenting at human rights tribunals and fighting for custody of their children.
Women that local environmental and economic disasters have impacted are welcome to build a temporary wardrobe to help replace items lost.
